We decided to move back to VA from PA and started our home search the first week of April. I sent an info request about real estate in Central VA through an internet request and we were so lucky that Regina responded almost immediately. I give you the date because we closed on our house on May 24th! This is almost an impossibility in this current market. We had intended to build but Regina advised us to also look at pre-owned homes. Regina did a great job of "interviewing" us to find out what we wanted in a home, and we loved one of the first homes she showed us! That was on a Saturday. We knew we would have to act quickly and Regina helped us make a sensible offer. Regina then used her contacts to get the home inspected the very next morning. As a result we knew that we weren't going to get any surprises, we were buying a well maintained home. We had applied for financing through the bank we always use, but the seller wanted a very quick close of 30 days. Once again, Regina was able to put us in contact with a local bank that made it happen. Regina kept us informed about everything that was going on and she was truly our advocate in the buying process.
